as far as I can see yes Snowdon gave some big secrets away but I believe his intention was honorable. he reminded us all just how corrupt our government is. its up to us to make him a hero and not the criminal he is said to be. he is not a traitor he is a patriot who said our rights were being stolen by the very people who swore to protect them, our government. its up to us to bring him home. now we have only seen a small fraction of the material he took so I'm thinking the really good stuff is still being kept from the public by the media Mr greenwald etc… now its in our best interest that some of this info should be kept quiet because it would pose to great a risk to the security of the USA. however everything should be turned over to a special prosecutor chosen by the people to review and recommend charges against anyone who broke the law in the process. it should not be swept under the rug as Washington always does. it time to make them responsible for their actions when in public office.
