No where does the Qur'an say that the text of the former scriptures was corrupted by the Romans or Jews. It does say the Jews twisted the meaning with their tongues, and only the godly People of the Book were faithful to follow the (uncorrupted) Injil, Taurat and Zabur. Surah 3:84 and 2:136 say to make no distinction between the books/revelations from our Lord and Surah 5;48,6:34 &115, 10:64, and 18:27 say God's Word cannot be changed. Mohammed (pbuh) never taught this 10th century myth.
i am having a hard time understanding how you can limit who Jesus is and say he is just a prophet? Have you read his words? and prophets cant lie other wise that would make hime a false prophet, so if the Quran agrees that he is a prophet and Jesus says he is the son of God, the light and the truth and the only way to the farther then how come we have a dis connect here? Quran has confused alot of people with a mix of truth and confusion. Jesus is the only way, period. ask the "prophet" himself
