was having a real nice time till I saw some of these comments. they're always there to burn Beatles records or protest Harry Potter books. must be a fun life
Maybe Snowball Earth continues another 10 million years. Maybe microbial life waits another 50 million years. Maybe the asteroid misses earth and Dinosaurs rule for a few million years longer. Humans could easily have arrived 10 million years earlier or later or not at all. Of course the universe has to be finely tuned for all this to happen. How finely tuned ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3jvfvho3CE
So much work behind this video, has anyone thought about it? makes me crazy how much research is behind and even more, how much more is necessary to unveil maybe just a tiny bit of understanding about of evolution
Lee B – A holiday in the British Isles…only? – I think you're under-estimating how popular this guy is. David Attenborough has been informing and amazing 2-3 generations. Australians also would mourn this great man.
I actually found this documentary to be very boring. When it first came on ABC1 a few years back, I was ecstatic. But about 20 minutes in I found myself to be falling asleep. So I stopped it and attempted to watch the rest of it later. But I still could not arouse myself to watch it all the way through. I mean no disrespect to Sir David, he's brilliant and an excellent naturalist. I just could not watch this particular series.
“Questioning Darwin,” a documentary on HBO, presets a novel approach to a subject that many consider at odds with their religious views."The film, by Antony Thomas, traces Charles Darwin’s personal evolution as he slowly formed his theory of evolution, fleshing out the portrait with excerpts from his writings (read by the actor Sam West). These biographical segments are juxtaposed with comments from creationist Christians, presented non-judgmentally. Mr. Thomas for the most part lets these opposing worldviews speak for themselves." – NEIL GENZLINGER, New York Times
So where did the cells get their lives from? And DNA? That's the complete blueprint for the human body before they are even born. How did that get there? and why was it in the cell in the first place.
Evolution doesn't answer these basic questions so how can you even begin to progress from there. you can't base a whole worldwide teaching on possibilities.

Attenborough and paleontology is always an amazing mix.
That actually goes for both David and his brother, the late Richard Attenborough. RIP John Hammond.
To all the Dislikes on this Documentary, my answer is PAUSE @ 4:48 and enjoy
28 information deniers so far. I do wish stupid didn't have the ability to reproduce.
Someone give this man a belt.
David Attenborough is the best thing about humanity.

rekt on the savage rocks
Even though I like David Attenborough, these creatures don't have a brain in the first place to want to grow body parts. There had to be a creator.
I enjoy the show but…
God made all there is in 6 days and rested on the 7th.
Blasphemy otherwise, no matter how nice the delivery.
