Binyamin Netanyahu wasted little time exploiting two attacks on Israeli embassies in India and Georgia and a similar attack in Bangkok yesterday. He carefully packaged them together with the unsubstantiated accusation that Iran is developing a nuclear weapon as part of the ongoing propaganda effort to drum up support for an attack on the Islamic country.
The Israeli PM made his comments after Iran announced it will produce yellowcake uranium.

“The world must denounce Iran’s terrorist activity and mark red lines on the Iranian nuclear program,” Netanyahu told a Knesset meeting. “Iran is the largest exporter of terrorism in the world,” Netanyahu declared and said that “Iran’s terrorist activities are currently evident to everyone.”
“Iran is undermining the stability of the world. It is attacking innocent diplomats around the world. The countries of the world must condemn these acts and draw a red line against Iranian aggression. This aggression, if not stopped, will eventually spread.”
According to the Jerusalem Post and Netanyahu’s media adviser, Israel’s Foreign Ministry and security service officials discussed Iran’s alleged terrorism “around the world, as well as the preventive measures being taken against the Iranian terrorist assault.”
“The attempted terror attack in Thailand proves once again that Iran and its proxies continue to operate in the ways of terror and the latest attacks are an example of that,” said Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Iran and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah were “unrelenting terror elements endangering the stability of the region and endangering the stability of the world,” Barak said, according to The Guardian.
Hezbollah was established in response to Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon. It managed to drive Israel out of southern Lebanon after a long and brutal occupation.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Israel knows exactly how to identify those responsible for the attacks and how to identify those who carried them out despite Iran’s denial it was involved in the attacks.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that elements of the Zionist regime are responsible for these terrorist acts,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast.
“It just shows that Israel and its citizens face terror inside and outside of Israel,” Liberman said. “We deal with it every day. We know how to identify exactly who is responsible for the attack and who carried it out.”
Liberman demanded an attack on Iran “because just as we have seen in the past, the Jews are the convenient first target for crazy dictatorships, but not the last.”
Israeli historian Benny Morris amplified the Holocaust angle on Tuesday in an article appearing in the Los Angeles Times.
“The fact is that Israel’s leaders, reflecting Israeli public opinion, take very seriously Iran’s oft-repeated threat to create a second Holocaust, to wipe the Jewish state… off the map,” Morris said, repeating the MEMRI-generated falsification that Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the violent removal of the Jewish state.
“The choice is clear and stark. Either Iran, led by fanatical, brutal and millenarian leaders, will get the bomb, or it will be prevented from doing so by military assault on its nuclear installations, by America or Israel. If the Americans, who have the capability to do a thorough job, don’t do it — and they don’t seem to have the stomach for it after Iraq and Afghanistan — then the Israelis, with their more limited capabilities, will have to,” Morris predicted.
Officials in New York City also took advantage of the increased rhetoric following the attacks.
“Iran is the subject of the vast majority of our discussions right now,” said Mitchell Silber, director of intelligence analysis for the NYPD. “This, right now, is a front-burner issue. I hesitate to say it’s No. 1, because we don’t want to ignore the other threats, but right now, it’s essentially No. 1.”
Silber took his message to the pages of The Wall Street Jounral on Tuesday.
“Iran’s next target could well be on American soil,” he warned, and then tied in the discredited plot supposedly concocted by Iran to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in the United States. “Given the alleged plot against a foreign diplomat in Washington, Iran’s increasingly bellicose rhetoric and its long history of sponsoring terror attacks abroad, the NYPD must remain vigilant in attempting to detect and disrupt any attack by Iran or its proxies. Anything less would be abdicating our duty to protect New York City and its residents.”
In late January, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the Senate Intelligence Committee Iran is likely to launch terrorists attacks inside the United States. He also cited the discredited plot against the Saudi diplomat.
Clapper said the unlikely plot “shows that some Iranian officials – probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States in response to real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime.”
Hey Kurt! Get a clue! What don’t you understand about Iran being a threat to Israel? You believe the Islamist regime when they say, Israel attacked themselves?
Don’t make me laugh! All three countries the attacks occured in already have said it was the Iranians. Did you miss that? You are the only one! Israel/Netanyahu didn’t have to say anything when the authorities in those countries already addressed who it was. The fact is Iran supports terrorism! Iran supports Hezbollah and helps fund their operations. Just like CAIR in the United States supports terrorism! They support HAMAS! Of course you wouldn’t know anything about that would you? The Justice Dept. has already proven this!
Ahmadinejad absolutely said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map! Are you saying he didn’t? What country in the world would allow another country to threaten it with annihilation and do nothing about it? You really love to undermind you’re audience with this drivel don’t you? To answer your question: Israel would be the country that let another country threaten them with annihilation and do nothing about it. It has been a few years since the Iranian threats were made and Israel has done nothing.
