ive always wondered how the early planes worked…ya ya, im VERY mechanical, ive rebuilt engines and whole cars/trucks….and my first computer game was a flight sim.
but the idea of only having no power, or full power…. with a switch to cut the ignition….how do you control the trouque?
sure, its not a 2000 HP P&W 2800….but their still has to be some tourque….
they HAD to learn to put the right amount of stick movement combined with the ignition cutout…HIGHLY skilled men.
BRAAAAA pop opo pop pop BRAAAAAA goes the camel.
and the early french "deflector prop"….literally sending the bullets left and right….until it usually broke, with the prop….
and i think flying the mig 21 in DCS is hard…..
