Onslaught to begin when UN inspectors leave

A reporter with Israel’s most widely read newspaper has been told by defense establishment officials that a US-led attack on Syria will begin on Saturday and end when Barack Obama meets Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.

Report US Attack On Syria to Begin Saturday

Despite an apparent softening in rhetoric as British Prime Minister David Cameron faces a parliamentary revolt over military intervention, in addition to reports that the intelligence against Assad’s regime is by no means a “slam dunk,” Israel Hayom reporter Amir Mizroch tweets that the attack will begin on Saturday immediately after UN inspectors have left the country.

Inspectors had initially planned to leave on Sunday after concluding their investigation but their departure a day early has increased speculation that air strikes are imminent.

British and American military might is now fully in place and prepared for strikes which experts say will take the form of Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles fired from warships or submarines.

Mizroch also highlights remarks made by former Mossad director Danny Yatom, who says that the apparent delay on green lighting military strikes is only so Bashar Al-Assad can’t use the UN inspectors as human shields.

Mizroch was also told that Israel sent Assad a message via Russia threatening that if Syria attempts to attack Israel, Damascus will be targeted and Assad’s regime will be toppled.

This threat was made despite attempts by Gulf nations to secure a promise from Israel that it would act with restraint if Syria attempts retaliatory strikes against Israel in response to a western onslaught. Israel replied that it would act with restraint, but only if aggression against it “did not exceed reasonable bounds.”

In a related story, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro has promised a “strong and serious response,” to Assad’s alleged chemical atrocity last week, despite American officials admitting to the New York Times that there is no “smoking gun” that directly links President Assad to the attack.

US intelligence officials also told the Associated Press that the intelligence proving Assad’s culpability is “no slam dunk,” a far cry from the Obama administration’s rhetoric, which held that Assad’s responsibility was “undeniable.”

    I believe it would best for all concerned to keep the ships in place and monitor the situation.

    Isntreal, always at the center of any voodoo that breaks out in the M.E. Methinks if Isntreal were to be removed then things would settle. Can we try that? Just for once since 1948 can we erase Isntreal to see if peace breaks out? I bet it would work.

    America has to be taught a lesson and maybe this will be the time to do it! A few sunk US ships and a concerted response against American interests in the Middle East may teach the peace prize winner that he cannot just bomb another nation with impunity and not expect payback.

    It doesn’t matter what anyone says..If President Obama says we need to strike Syria then fine….This is a President that doesn’t want war and I know he knows more than what is being said to the American public…I don’t want this stuff brought here to the USA..Syria obviously doesn’t care.. because if they did.. they would not have done this to their on people..Wake up America before its to late..We live in a World where we have to do things that none of us want to do…And war is one of them…Since the beginning of time their have been wars and they will continue to be…If Russia, China or Iran wants to start their stuff and take up for Syria then let the show begin…God has given America the balls to keep peace no matter what and if no one wants to reply to that then I say go for it….I will fight for the USA if ever called on…

    Two words: P-800 Yakhont. It’s not a Scud. It’s twice as fast as a Tomahawk. It’s on mobile launch vehicles in Syria and Iran.

    If Barack Obama orders or authorizes an illegal act of war against Syria, under no circumstances should Vladimir Putin meet with Obama. Furthermore, if the U.S. attacks Syria;
    Russia, China, Iran and their allies will be fully and legally justified to retaliate against the U.S and or any U.S. allies that participate in any way and/or provide any and all forms of material support to facilitate the attack. In the meantime, the U.S. West Coast is being irradiated by the toxic nuclear materials leaking into the ocean from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant. Even without another seismic or serious weather event, the entire Northern Hemisphere is under a constant threat of total destruction from exposure to deadly levels of radiation. The U.S. is silent on the very real danger but the government has made extensive preperations to protect & preserve the government and to contain & control the American people for when the food & water supplies are exhausted and people begin to die from radiation poisoning in large numbers. FEMA has purchased and taken delivery of enough body bags and coffins to accommodate at least half the population of the U.S.

    I believe this is a real attempt by BRICS to erode enough confidence in the dollar in order to start a new reserve currency. In all of these countries there have been terrorist attacks, bad weather, border attacks, expanding nuclear, news headlines enough to draw attention away from Syria and the gas attacks. By drawing the attention on something else they are able to erode the confidence in the dollar enough to start their own currency, because India is not developed enough to start it. If they can get other nations on board they can further erode the dollar as reserve currency. As you know, the dollar is not backed by gold, only by force and our good word. If we do nothing our show of force in the world and our good word will not be worth much. It’s all about Money and Power!

      Unfortunately you no longer have a good word! Every time the US says anything it is a lie.why. Do you think the government goes after truth tellers?
