The most obvious history between Bulk and Break. Breakdown was once a Wrecker (name, body build, history) who fought alongside Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Magnus and the rest of the Wreckers. Something happened that got under Breakdown's hood that eventually sent him crawling to the Decepticons where Megatron and Knock Out saw potential in his abilities to literally "break down" Autobot soldiers.
Breakdown joined the Cons and revealed his Con status to Bulkhead during a fight. This upset Bulkhead, even more when Breakdown killed fellow Wreckers Roadbuster and Rotorstorm. Figuring there was no hope at all to save Breakdown, he and Bulk became vicious rivals.
