I started talking about this over 30 years ago after taking an advertising class where I had to collect ads from various magazines, foreign and domestic, for an assignment. I started noticing things in the ads such as these. Cherry's, ice cream shaped like body parts, spoons and ice cubes, with words and naked bodies, acts of sex, drawn onto them. One ad for a ladies razor had the word 'sex' all up and down her legs, faint, like showing through from an article on the back page, but there wasn't one. Foreign ads were the most obvious, but it was found in so many ads, it was shocking. I used to have them in a file but finally tossed them years ago. Now we have internet to reach more people so they are aware.
