First: What american economical power exactly? If america didnt join the war when they did, they would still be in the great despresion.. they only got so powerful economicaly because of etering the war when they did… ( starting to produce weapons to win it.. and seeling them to biritsh and other partizan forces in europe…( they aern a lot of money to by suppling soviet forces with supplies).) the majority of american back in those days didnt want to join the war…( they american army that time was an embaracement… Europeans and the majority of time british soldiers teached americans how to fight in the first place… ) and they did just because of the attack on pearl harbor ( btw: they let the japanese do it.. because they needed to convince people to join the war… / they knew the japanese are coming…)
Second: If germany hadnt get sabotaged by british specops in colaboration with americans by destoing their heavy water suplies .. they would finish the atomic bobmb first… and they would destroy america in a single attack… You know how?

The Americans wouldn't have broken the moral of the Japanese as the reason why Japan surrendered was by Imperial decree (meaning because the Emperor ordered it) which was only made possible because the atom bombs. Japan was content with fighting a defensive battle at home and this could be seen up until the end of the war. There was even a coup that took place to try and stop the end of the war. The Japanese had the mindset that they could win the war at home and then force the US into a truce as well as keeping there current system of government, their emperor and their conquered land such as Korea and Manchuria.
