The closing year of Lost was break up up into two realities. Just one was a continuation of the major timeline from the very first five seasons. This timeline is the “true entire world” and it can be this entire world that this write-up is targeted on. The other actuality is the “flash sideways” which is discovered to be a variety of “purgatory” (I will not know if that is the greatest phrase for it, but it can be some type of “put up life” entire world) at the finish of the finale episode.
The “flash sideways” entire world occurs in a spot outside of time. It transpires just after all of the characters die, even if they die at different times (which they obviously do.)
But this write-up is about who survived at the finish of the “true entire world” timeline as the show finishes? Who both escaped the island for good or was even now alive on the island at the finish?
Escaped The Island On The Plane
The very first group of men and women who plainly survived had been these who had been on the airplane flown by Frank Lapidus. Sawyer, Kate, Claire, Miles, & Richard had been on the airplane as travellers.
Survived On The Island
Hurley was the “new Jacob” at the finish of the series (just after Jack’s demise) with Ben as his “#two.” Bernard and Rose had been also even now alive (steering clear of drama!)
Desmond was also alive on the island at the finish of the series but it is implied that he leaves to join his spouse (Penny) and his son (Charlie) for the reason that Ben tells Hurley he won’t have to do factors the way Jacob did (men and women can go away the island.)
And I will not want to overlook Vincent the puppy (who so poignantly visits Jack as he’s dying at the finish.)
Other Survivors
Walt, Aaron, Penny, Jin & Sun’s infant, and Eloise Hawking are some other characters from the show who are even now alive at the finish.
