Yea kinda.cruel cutting off a dudes balls and make him serve you drinks.
I'm sorry but for babies that don't understand fear saves lives; go live in a Barbie house. In a world where "gods strike you dead for anything" fear is the tool used to maintain power. May sound not "PC" but you are watching history; say hello to the truth of our past.

Has anyone seen my keys? I thought I left them around here last time. Would everyone just check their seats or whatever and and see if they didn't slip behind a cushion or something? Thanks.
Assyrians were masters of psychological warfare. Are the superpowers of today any better, more moral or more merciful? Look at the millions of innocent people suffering today, massacred, raped, expelled from their homes. Bombs reign down from drones flown like video-games. The elites and corporations make billions while the lives of innocent human beings are destroyed with cold-blooded efficiency and brutality. Dictators are caught and hanged while Islamic terrorists are allowed to fill the vacuum.
i wish one day Assyrians come back. at least their the ones that can get rid of islamic state.
Assyrians documented what they did, other did very bad things but no one knows about because were not documented.
Usually I just listen to these documentaries and don't bother to watch the uninspired (sometimes cheesy) graphics. This was a remarkably visually interesting couple of episodes and I really enjoyed it. Showing the story through the art of the participants as it has been recovered in the archaeological record was very cool. (Ok the second episode, the Macedonians, was a little cheesier but I still enjoyed the little art we got.)
proud to be ASSYRIAN
